Many people don't like jellyfish, because some of them are dangerous. Nevertheless the are beautiful creatures and important for our ecosystem.

First fact
Do you know that jellyfish breath through their skin?
Jellyfish is breathing by using oxygen. They don't have circulatory or respiratory systems. They suck in oxygen through their skin and thats where the magic happens.
Second fact
Jellyfish don't have brains.
They have an elementary nervous system with receptors that detect light, vibrations, and chemicals in the water. They have a sense of gravity which allows them orient and guid themselfes in the water.
Third fact
95% of their Body is water.
Jellyfish are invertebrates, which means they are animals without a skeleton. Also they don't have ears, hearts, legs, feets and heads.
Fourth fact
Do you know that some jellyfish eat other jellyfish?
Jellyfish have several predetors. For example sharks, tuna, swordfish, sea turtles, and one species of pacific salmon.
Fifth fact
Some jellyfish sting faster than a gun shoots.
The uncoiling of the jellyfish’s small stingers is one of the fastest actions in nature. Stingers shoot out even faster than a bullet from a gun.
